| In May and June, AUSTRAC will host the virtual AUSTRAC Reporting Entity Forum. The AUSTRAC Reporting Entity Forum is a series of webinars where Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ members can hear directly from AUSTRAC about a number of important regulatory topics. At the AUSTRAC Reporting Entity Forum, reporting entities will hear about: findings from our supervision teams, including any AML/CTF compliance issues we’ve identified in your sector findings from the 2024 Compliance Report key changes for reporting entities ahead of reforms to Australia’s anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CTF) regime. How Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ members can attend the AUSTRAC Reporting Entity Forum Reporting entities can register to attend a sector-specific webinar via the link below. Each webinar will take place via Microsoft Teams and run for between 60 and 90 minutes, including time at the end for questions. How Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ members can benefit from attending the AUSTRAC Reporting Entity Forum Through events like this, we facilitate discussions between AUSTRAC and reporting entities, and encourage a collaborative approach to fighting financial crime. The AUSTRAC Reporting Entity Forum will help improve Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ member’s understanding of AUSTRAC’s regulatory expectations and our focus. They can also hear about some of the issues we’ve found through our supervision activities.
