The next tender for hotel electronic gaming machine operating authorities in Queensland will聽open on Wednesday, 4 March 2026,聽and聽close at 4pm on Wednesday, 25 March 2026聽(Australian Eastern Standard Time).
Minimum acceptable prices for authorities for sale across the three regions are:
– South East: $385,582
– Coastal: $152,290
– Western: $131,250
The number of authorities available per region is still TBC.
Licensees wishing to sell any authorities at the next tender must lodge an application to surrender their gaming machine licence OR decrease the number of gaming machines at their premises.
